Logan’s Voice |
|
Logan born March 16 2004, for almost four years, shared his joy of discovering life’s mysteries and pleasures with his family and friends. The word "walk" was not in Logan’s vocabulary. He rushed headlong through his short life full speed ahead. He loved assuming the roles of his favorite characters – Batman, Spiderman, Elmo--, helping his Dad and Papa Ray with their chores, but most of all playing with his sister.
Having recently discovered Crocs and Jibbitz, when Logan gave a “Jibblitz”, you knew it was from the heart.
CrocswithSocsRocs is dedicated to him.
June 22, 2008 It has been 4 months 17 days, since our Little Man was taken from us. Our hearts constantly break over and over, every day. Kingwood Medical Center emergency room incorrectly intubated Logan in his esophagus, closing off his trachea. Pumping, what should have been life giving oxygen into his little tummy, instead of his lungs, and choking him to death. Standard Procedure is to X-Ray after intubation and check the position of the tube, we know now. When the Kangaroo ambulance crew from Texas Children's Medical Center arrived, the first thing the ambulance crew did was immediately re-intubate. Before removing the tube, when asked "Is he breathing at all?", The EMT’s response was a definitive flat out "NO", |
